Hoop Dreams

Anyone who knows me knows I have an unhealthy appetite for basketball, despite being an undersized Asian with unexciting athleticism. Blame it on my NYC upbringing.

One thing I love about Taiwan is that streetball is very much alive out here. A lot of people who come here blog about food or traveling. Fuck that noise, I reserved this section for the ballers out there. I’ll try to visit a good amount of courts in Taipei and check out the comp. There’s an awesome website called www.courtsoftheworld.com and it maps out various bball courts worldwide, which I think is a great effin’ resource. One of my mini-goals is to contribute to the site whenever I can.

Also, I promised my team that I’m gonna be working on my game. I might even add a move or two. I’ll be marking my progress here from time to time.
